My name is Clarisa and I am a Product Designer based in San Francisco, CA. My path here has run through two things I care about deeply: teaching and music. With 7 years of experience as a teacher's assistant in special education, I've learned to pay close attention to what people actually need — and I'm now channeling that same care into designs that are thoughtful, accessible, and genuinely useful for the people who use them.

I grew up surrounded by artists, which sharpened my eye for detail early on. That shows up in how I approach design today — I care as much about how something feels to use as how it looks. My years working with students of different ages and needs also gave me a distinct advantage in understanding accessibility: I've seen firsthand how small design choices can make something either frustrating or effortless for someone.

In my free time, I perform as an event and lounge singer and livestream regularly. It keeps me close to the same thing I care about in design — connecting with people, and paying attention to what actually resonates with them.
